La Marzocco, an Italian excellence in the production of high-end coffee equipment, promotes coffee culture in the beautiful setting of “L’Accademia del Caffè Espresso”.
Housed inside Accademia there is a company museum, a space dedicated to exhibitions and temporary displays.
The latest exhibit “Migrant Coffee Migrant Coffee” explores the link between the phenomenon of Italian emigration and coffee production.
This innovative project, whose installation project manager is Stefano Zagni, is the result of collaboration between curators Massimo Battaglia and Mauro Belloni, an in-house research team, and the support of CISEI, the University of Genoa’s Maritime and Naval History Laboratory (NavLab) and the Museu da Imigracao São Paulo Brazil.
