“Genova nel Medioevo” is an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Genoa, aiming to present medieval Genoa in all its aspects to a broad audience. This cultural heritage will be unveiled throughout 2024 with a comprehensive program of events.
For the occasion, Cromazoo was responsible for the conception and design of a visual identity system—a visual framework to encompass all the cultural initiatives scheduled for the year.
The design of the visual identity system for ‘Genova nel Medioevo’ began with research and analysis of distinctive elements from the relevant artistic and cultural heritage. A visual alphabet was then created, which formed the foundation of the visual language for the cultural initiative.
The visual identity system was subsequently applied across all communication channels, both online and offline, giving the event uniqueness and recognizability.
