FURLA | APRIL FOOLS’

Video production and social campaign

DESCRIPTION

During the years, we supported Furla to develop engagement campaigns on social media on the occasion of each April Fools’ Day.

The goal was always to surprise the online community with unexpected content, playing around with the concept of the product prank to create engagement and start conversations on the social channels.

VOICE COMMANDS

In 2019, we worked on three videos to present a new feature of all Furla Mimì bags: a virtual assistant able to customize the bags through voice command, from changing the color or size of the Mimì to making it go from pochette to crossbody.

CLICK TO CHANGE COLOR

In 2018, the product selected for April Fools’ Day was the Metropolis Fantasia.
We produced two videos showing both the bag changing colors at each click on the closure, and the bag changing the background behind it at each swipe on the colors of the rainbow.
Again, the community reacted in a very positive way, with a lot of product-related comments.

INFLATABLE, FOR REAL.

In 2017, we presented on April 1st a real, revolutionary PVC reinterpretation of the classic Metropolis bag, leveraging on the typical “is this for real?” effect. We decided to play it plain and simple, showing a Metropolis being inflated and letting the followers decide whether it was for real or not.
The results were mind-blowing, considering the average engagement rate of Furla Instagram account at that time.
